Terms of service
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases of Goods which are sold by Mirrors of London. By placing an order on this website you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the Terms and Conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest Terms and Conditions. In these Terms and Conditions (the “Conditions”) the following words shall have their corresponding meaning: “Buyer” the person(s), firm or company who purchases the Goods from the Company.“ Company ” Mirrors of London “Goods” any Goods agreed to be supplied to the Buyer by the Company (including any part or parts of them). “Delivery Date” the date on which the Goods are to be delivered as stipulated in the Buyer’s order and accepted by the Seller. “Contract” any agreement between the Company and the Buyer for the sale and purchase of the Goods, incorporating these Conditions.
Basis of Sale
1.1 The Buyer represents that all information supplied at the time of ordering is up-to-date, materially accurate, and sufficient for the Seller to fulfil the Contract.
1.2 The Buyer represents that it has legal capacity to enter into a Contract under these Conditions.
1.3 The Seller’s employees or agents are not authorised to make any representations concerning the Goods unless confirmed in writing.
1.4 No variation to these Conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing by the Seller.
1.5 Price lists, product descriptions and sales literature are subject to alteration and do not constitute an offer capable of acceptance.
1.6 Liability for breach of these Conditions is limited to the refund of monies paid for Goods not received or returned in approved condition.
1.7 Any typographical, clerical, or accidental errors on the website or in sales documents are subject to correction without liability.
1.8 Mirrors of London strives for accuracy but accepts no liability for site inaccuracies where they do not form part of a confirmed Contract.
Prices
2.1 Order confirmation by the Buyer signifies acceptance of the price and charges displayed at the time of ordering.
2.3 The Company reserves the right to amend prices or cancel an order prior to delivery being scheduled.
Delivery
3.1 Delivery of the Goods shall be made by the Seller to the delivery address specified by the Buyer in the United Kingdom, or to an international address accepted by the Seller.
3.2 If the delivery address is outside the UK, the Buyer is solely responsible for legal import and local compliance.
3.3 The Delivery Date is approximate and not time-critical unless confirmed in writing by the Seller.
3.4 Goods delivered in instalments constitute separate Contracts. Buyer may not repudiate the Contract as a whole where individual instalments are delayed or disputed.
3.5 If the Buyer fails to accept delivery and/or fails to provide required access instructions, delivery shall be deemed completed once returned to Seller’s warehouse, and risk passes to the Buyer at the point of attempted delivery (signed or unsigned / safe place delivery).
3.6 — Tracking & Driver Assignment
When the Goods are marked as out for delivery and assigned to Mirrors of London’s delivery drivers, the Buyer will receive an automated tracking email generated by the Seller’s delivery app provider, the Woodelivery platform. The Buyer acknowledges that this is a system-generated notification sent from a no-reply address and not from a monitored customer service inbox. This email will include a live tracking link and the two-hour delivery window for the Goods.
3.7 — Safe Place Delivery Requests
Where the Buyer requests or instructs that Goods are left in an unattended safe place (including but not limited to: shared lobbies, porches, behind bins, lockboxes, or communal areas), the Buyer expressly acknowledges and agrees that:
a) The Goods are being left strictly at the Buyer’s request and discretion;
b) The Buyer assumes full responsibility and all risk for Goods left unattended;
c) Risk in the Goods transfers at the point delivery is completed, evidenced via Seller’s digital proof of delivery.
3.8 — Exclusion of Liability for Safe Place Deliveries
Where Goods are left unattended in a Buyer-nominated safe place, Mirrors of London, its drivers, staff, or affiliates shall not be held liable for any claims relating to:
i. Theft, loss, or damage occurring after delivery;
ii. Damage to the product or packaging after proof of delivery is obtained;
iii. Goods being refused or turned away by third-party or communal locations nominated by the Buyer;
iv. Goods stolen after delivery has been completed.
The Buyer agrees that Mirrors of London cannot be held liable for financial compensation, reimbursement, or replacement costs for Goods left unattended at the Buyer’s nominated safe location, including in cases of theft, product damage, or stolen Goods.
3.9 — Proof of Delivery
The Seller will obtain photographic or digital proof of delivery on the day the Goods are delivered. The Buyer will be able to view this proof in the app or email once delivery has been completed. The Buyer agrees that this constitutes sufficient evidence that delivery was fulfilled in accordance with the Buyer’s instructions.
3.10 — Authority for Access Instructions
Where the Buyer provides access details (door, lockbox, concierge, lobby, or building codes), the Buyer confirms they have the authority and any necessary permissions to do so. Mirrors of London shall not be responsible if access is refused upon arrival despite assumed permission by the Buyer.
Damage / Loss in Transit
4.1 No liability for damage claims where Buyer has not complied with carrier notification timelines.
4.2 Buyer must report damage or shortages within 5 days.
4.3 Damaged Goods must be retained for inspection if requested.
4.4 Replacement or returns accepted only if agreed in writing.
Returns
5.1 Returns cannot be accepted without prior written approval from the Company.
5.2 Returned Goods must be carriage paid.
Payment
6.1 Payment may be made by any method shown at checkout. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
6.2 Payment is due before delivery. Contract may be terminated if payments fail.
6.3 Goods will not be delivered until cleared funds are received.
6.4 The Company may require identity or address verification.
6.5 Interest may be charged on late payments.
6.6 Buyer is liable for any costs incurred in collecting debts due to payment default.
6.7 The Company does not store or share credit card details.
Risk and Title
7.1 Risk in the Goods passes to the Buyer at the point of delivery or attempted delivery.
Retention of Title
8.1 Goods remain property of the Seller until full cleared payment is received.
Copyright
9.1 All design, content, graphics, logos, and website material remains the copyright of Mirrors of London. Buyer may not copy without written consent.
Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
11.1 Use of this site is governed under English Law. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of English Courts.
